Tour Plan

Day 01 Starting Nairobi Hotel/Airport to Amboseli National Park:(250km – 3.5 hours approx.)

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

Make these parks your safari destination for an unforgettable vacation. Just let us know if you have any special requests.

Lady M Safaris will pick you up early morning to begin your journey on the Nairobi/Mombasa Highway. We’ll traverse the rich African countryside teeming with small farms and punctuated with the bright colors of Maasai herders along the way.

Safari

Few parks can guarantee sights of a particular animal – not so at Amboseli. This is the best spot to see free-ranging elephants up close… guaranteed. Framing these regal creatures is the towering backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. You’ll enjoy Africa’s best views of its snowy peak, weather permitting, in the early morning and late afternoon.

The vegetation can be sparse at Amboseli, but that only offers more opportunities to spot other wildlife in the park like buffalo, wildebeest, impala, hyena, giraffe, and zebra. And you have a good chance of seeing a lion and cheetah.

If birdlife is your fancy, at the park’s marshes and lakes, you’ll be treated to a rich avian display of pelicans, kingfishers, egrets, herons and more.

Overnight

After a full day of game drives, you’ll have dinner at the lodge or tented campground of your choice.

Day 2 Safari Amboseli National Park to Tsavo East National Park

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, dinner

We’ll head out early for another game drive. This will be an ideal time to view Kilimanjaro. If the clouds cooperate, you’ll see the snowy peak of the tallest mountain in Africa.

While at Amboseli, if you choose, you can enjoy an optional visit to a nearby Masai Village, where you can meet these indigenous people and learn about their culture. There will be opportunities to purchase handcrafted jewelry as well.

Then we’re off to the second park of your holiday – Tsavo East. We’ll use this time well since our trip to Tsavo will also be a game drive!

Arriving at our second lodge we’ll freshen up and enjoy lunch. Then we’ll head out on the park’s grasslands to “catch” more wildlife. You may see black rhino, Cape buffalo, leopard, and lion.

There’s a good chance you’ll be treated to the sight of Tsavo’s famous red-dust elephants, coated red by the dust baths they take in the brick red earth.

Overnight

Tonight, we’ll rest up for more game drives in Tsavo tomorrow.

03 Safari Tsavo East National Park to Diani/Mombasa Beach Hotel

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch

There’s nothing like rising at the crack of dawn to witness the animals emerging into the day. We like to call this the “Lady M Safaris Experience” – a beautiful and inspiring moment, especially as the African sunrise lights up the plains.

We’ll try to get in some big game sights before heading back for a rewarding breakfast. After a little relaxing, we’ll check out of our accommodations, but the game viewing isn’t over yet!

We’ll head out to Tsavo’s watering holes at Mudanda Rock and the Aruba Dam. The waters are a natural draw for antelope, impala, waterbuck, elephant, and many others.

Drop off.

We’ll drive to the Kenya coast with stories of our sightings and memories to last until our next safari adventure. You should arrive at your hotel or resort around evening hrs.
